Dante DelBene

video production company

Dante DelBene is an experienced craftsman in lifestyle and product cinematography who has worked in the camera and editing departments on projects for national-level brands (NCAA Men’s Basketball, Werner Co., Cleveland Cliffs) as well as notable regional agencies and nonprofits around the country (San Francisco Police Department, Columbus Department of Public Safety, Lit Youngstown, Educational Empowerment Group, and 717 Credit Union).

"I started editing videos in 2014 during my junior year at the University of Mount Union. Since then I’ve held numerous filmmaking positions; producer, writer, director, director of photography, camera operator, gaffer, grip, sound engineer, AV specialist, and editor. My production company, Verb Films LLC, works in partnership with other agencies that are both local and non-local on various projects.

I prefer to work on short documentary-style pieces that focus on a person’s unique journey in their discipline. My experience has granted me access to the commercial filmmaking space, which is where I’ve produced some of my favorite work yet. The commercial space is also great for working and learning from other specialists with more experience than myself, which is extremely valuable. I’ve also worked on narrative films and would love to pursue more of that in the future.

With all that said, sometimes the most rewarding work is not necessarily what pays the bills. The work that fills my cup are oftentimes passion projects that grant me the most creative freedom. I’m open to any and all opportunities for businesses big & small, and I’m especially fond of any cinematic documentary projects with an artist, athlete, performer, or community.

I do not shoot weddings."
