Originally from the Atlanta area, I've been in Youngstown since 2022 and am excited to find myself in a community of such talented artists! When I'm not making art I can usually be found reading a book or exploring nature. I am desperately curious and I'm constantly finding things to marvel at in my surroundings.
For me art is about exploration and expression. I sometimes randomly get an image that pops into my head and I try my best to put that image on canvas or in a sketchbook. Once it's done, I try to explore the meaning behind it. I've learned a lot about myself this way. I enjoy working with acrylics and charcoal, and I love doing collage art - mainly in the form of junk journaling. I really enjoy creating art that's bizarre and thought-provoking, but occasionally I'll make something ordinary like landscapes or portraits.
