[past event] art is work: Accounting for Artists

Do you have a business or a hobby? In this FREE VIRTUAL workshop we will walk through the difference in tax implications and then the details. We will take a deep dive into maintaining your books in the most cost efficient way possible for both a hobby and a business. We will end the session by reviewing the actual tax schedules our information will be on. This workshop promises to be as colorful and exciting as possible! Funded by the Ohio Arts Council and the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.

Facilitator Bio:

Jennifer Nesmith is a 2x Entrepreneur. She built a business from the ground up while pregnant and mom to a toddler and sold it for 5x what she paid for it! With a background in Communications & Accounting coupled with first hand experience running a successful fitness franchise, she will take an effective & enjoyable approach to tackling your financial needs.
